MEDIATING STRESS AND DISCORD WITH OTHERS FROM THE INSIDE OUT

300.00

In this intermediate level practice group, you learn communication skills and "maps" for mediating difficulties, challenges, and conflicts with others from the inside out. You will learn how to bring empathy, mindfulness and compassion to your inner experience in a way that gives you the ability to transform your outer experience of difficult situations and relationships, and take effective action. The learning is experiential and practice oriented. The communication maps from the Mediate Your Life training program that you will learn are: The Enemy Image Process (EIP), the Mourn Celebrate Learn (MCL) process, and the Learning Cycle.

John will work with your group for the first 4-8 weeks, depending on the number of people in your group (i.e. 4 people = 4 weeks, 8 people or more = 8 weeks). Each session with John for this group is 1.5 hours. He will also show you how to make video and audio recording of sessions, and provide learning materials and resources.

PREREQUISITE: You have done 12 weeks or more of practice in a Foundations of Empathic Communication practice group, or have participated in 20 hours or more of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) training.
